Methods:
Laminar Flow Testing
- Add food coloring to system prior to inlet
- Start circulation in the system
- Observe flow patterns
Temperature Testing
- Start with room temperature fluid
- Place a thermometer at the inlet and outlet
- Place thermocouple at the specimen location
- Simultaneously read all temperatures at two minute intervals
- Continue until body temperature has been reached and maintained

Salinity Testing
- Heat the system to body temperature
- Record fluid level in the horizontal bath chamber
- Allow passive evaporation for eighteen hours
- Record change in fluid level
