Teaching

My primary teaching duties in the past have included teaching graduate level classes on the application of continuum mechanics to understanding the mechanical behavior of viscoelastic solids, such as biological tissues, and graduate level classes in various fields of optics. The main purpose of these courses is to teach the mathematical fundamentals underlying the concept of using a continuum approach to understand complex phenomena such as tissue mechanics and light scattering.
