BMES Conference in St. Louis, MO

A cohort of students from the Michigan Tech chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society traveled to St. Louis, MO for BMES's 2008 Annual Meeting. Students presented posters in undergraduate and graduate poster sessions, and several students presented platform talks in undergraduate and graduate platform sessions. Members of the chapter's executive board attended a workshop geared towards networking with other students and industrial partners across the country, and developing a successful local BMES chapter. As a service activity for the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Michigan Tech, our chapter developed an outreach booth that highlighted our department as a recruiting tool for potential students and faculty. The chapter had a successful weekend at the conference, and we are excited to share pictures with everyone in the album below.
