Students present posters at Design of Medical Devices conference in Minneapolis

Jared Cregg and Eric Minner presented posters today at the Design of Medical Devices conference in Minneapolis, MN.

Jared Cregg presented his poster titled 'Development of Polymeric Nerve Guidance Conduits that Contain Anisotropic Cues Including Aligned Microfibers and Gradients of Adsorbed Laminin-1.' This work presented the construction of a nerve guidance conduit that contains multiple guidance cues including microfibers and anisotropic laminin-1 for directed growth of axons following injury within the peripheral nervous system or within the spinal cord.

Eric Minner presented his poster titled 'Methylcellulose/Agarose Hydrogel System to Release Therapeutic Agents.' This poster details his work in development of a system that can slowly release peptides or other drugs for specific therapeutic needs.
