BE 4930 / BE 5900 SPECIAL TOPICS: INTRODUCTION TO GENETIC ENGINEERING AND MOLECULAR MEDICINE

Prerequisite: Cell Biology, or Consent of the Instructor
Will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:05-10:20, ME-EM 303
Remainder of the class meetings will consist of review of recent journal
articles and lectures by outside speakers via video-teleconference as well
as taped video presentations.
At the last week of the semester, all students will present their proposals
on treatment of various conditions using molecular techniques.
Students registering for the BE 5900 will review an additional paper
and will present it to the class.
