Research Activities The researchers in the Biosensors Lab are working on optimizing the sensor design so parameters of interest such as pressure, force, strain, and chemical concentrations can be translated to changes in the sensor signature. We are constantly looking for motivated graduate and undergraduate students from biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering and chemistry to participate in our lab. |

Ee Lim Tan is characterizing the wireless,
passive implantable strain sensor. Sensor signal is captured by a coil and
measured with a spectrum analyzer. |

Brandon Pereles is fabricating an
implantable strain sensor using a CNC milling machine. |
